Tax Receipts
When you donate money or material items to us and you wish to declare it as a charitable donation on your tax return, the IRS requires that all donations be supported with bank records or receipts proving the value of the donation.

The IRS Rules
Here is what the IRS and Utah state rules say:
- Donations less than $75 do not require a tax letter. All you need is a receipt.
- For donations of $75 or more, you will be issued a tax letter no later than January of the following year.
- All donations sent via PayPal are issued a receipt when the donation is processed.
When you make a donation to us, you will receive a tax receipt at the same time of your donation. Please retain it for your records — you will need it at tax time. For donations over $75, you will receive a year-end summary via email near the end of January the following year.
How to Find Tax Receipts in PayPal
- Login to your PayPal account.
- Once logged in, you will be on the MY ACCOUNT page. Look for the VIEW ALL MY TRANSACTIONS link and click it.
- On that page, find your transaction(s) to Dust Devil Ranch and print for your records.
